Prof. Shkel joined the IEEE-USA’s Research & Development Policy Committee (R&DPC) as the 2017 representative of the IEEE Sensors Council. The R&DPC provides technical advice to US government policymakers, analyze and interpret new technologies and policies, and promote policies that enhance US economic security and competitiveness.
